Financial leader and digital champion, Ms. Sana boasts over 16 years of experience driving process improvement and innovation. As a seasoned finance expert, she’s held senior roles at renowned institutions like Telenor Microfinance Bank (Director of Financial Reporting) and Lakson Investments & Next Capital (CFO). Throughout her career, she’s tackled diverse projects in the financial services industry, notably in digital transformation of finance function, internal controls over financial reporting, bookkeeping structure for core banking, corporate governance and IFRS implementation (16, 9, 15).
Leveraging her deep accounting and finance expertise, Ms. Sana has evolved into a sought-after trainer, empowering others through her knowledge of IFRSs, Financial Reporting & Analysis, and Financial Storytelling. Her “IFRS Practical Issues Series” program provides a platform for accountants to learn and collaborate on real-world challenges. Recognizing the ever-growing need for digital skills, Ms. Sana embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and founded Ed-Watch. This initiative prioritizes equipping individuals and organizations with the skills needed to thrive in the digital age.
Her commitment extends beyond the corporate world. As a Chartered Accountant (PwC alumna), Ms. Sana champions inclusivity. She led the development of ICAP’s “Women Inclusion Guidelines” and actively participates in committees like “Economic Advisory & Government Relations” and “Women’s Committee. “Her research on “Increasing the tax net in Pakistan” was published in “The Pakistan Accountant” under the title “Time to tackle taxation Jams.”

Nabeel Shaikh brings a wealth of experience to the table, boasting 18 years as a seasoned chartered accountant. His journey in the business world has been diverse, marked by pivotal roles as a Founder and Co-Founder in various startup ventures. Presently, he holds the position of Co-Founder at Ed-Watch, an innovative EdTech startup.
Within Ed-Watch, Nabeel takes the lead in forging Strategic Partnerships, propelling initiatives aimed at broadening the company’s footprint in international markets. His influence extends to a critical role in Product Development, where his expertise shines in crafting innovative solutions.
Ed-Watch emerges as a dedicated learning and development platform designed specifically for finance professionals. The startup’s mission revolves around elevating the skills and knowledge of individuals within the financial sector.
Nabeel Shaikh’s entrepreneurial ventures expand beyond Ed-Watch, where he also takes on the role of Co-Founder and Chief Strategic Officer at Mavens Advisors (Mavensadvisor.com). In this capacity, he spearheads the company’s strategic direction and oversees crucial aspects of its operations. Mavens Advisors specializes in business process outsourcing, providing a comprehensive platform dedicated to streamlining and optimizing various business processes.
Nabeel Shaikh earned his Chartered Accountancy qualification from the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) in 2013, and he also obtained an MSc degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northampton in 2021, showcasing his commitment to excellence in the field.
Prior to delving into the entrepreneurial realm, Nabeel Shaikh accumulated invaluable experience in esteemed organizations, lending his financial expertise to renowned names like PwC, KPMG, and LG. Across these roles, he took on diverse Finance Leadership positions, highlighting his versatility and proficiency in managing financial aspects across different industries.
At present, Nabeel holds the position of a Financial Advisor at a prominent GCC-based Unicorn in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, solidifying his standing in the financial sector. Beyond his advisory role, he wears multiple hats, serving as a Corporate Trainer and Public Speaker. In these capacities, he generously shares his wealth of knowledge with audiences in the corporate world.
In 2023, Nabeel ventured into entrepreneurship once more, this time as the Founder of Nashfact (nashfact.com). This online publishing platform is devoted to disseminating authentic information from the business world, providing insights into new business trends, startup stories, and various learning content.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Nabeel Shaikh is a Social Media Influencer, using his expertise to engage a wide audience. He also holds key roles as a board member at Manozi Limited (UK) and Nash Technologies, contributing strategically to these organizations.
