Understand us our objective
What is meant by Mental Strength?
Mental strength is a modified and a broader term derived from the term mental health based on the various strength development programs we have designed keeping the larger perspective in mind.
World Health Organization (WHO) defines mental health as “a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.”
Despite the common belief in many cultures restricting mental health issues to only certain behaviors called Crazy, there’s a wider range of problems impacting mental health of a person, including; Depression, Anxiety, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Autism, Dementia, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), eating disorder, addiction etc.

Mental Health Concerns
- Of Youth:
According to WHO one person commits suicide every 40 seconds and it is the second leading cause of deaths among young people.
While, half of all mental health conditions in adulthood start by 14 years of age majority of the times such problems with young people remain unidentified because of lack of knowledge, lack of communication among parents/ guardians/ siblings, ignorance of signs and linking mood swings with adolescence.
Attachment of Stigma with mental health issues leads to substance abuse, violence and other problems in youth that remain unaddressed until conditions deteriorate.
- Of Organisations:
Unaddressed mental health issues in employees result in inefficient performance, missed deadlines, deteriorating conflicts, increased insecurity and politics ultimately costing organizations profitability, reputation damages and even selling off or winding up of businesses.
Anxiety, depression, and other factors, may hamper employees from performing to their fullest that may be caused by a number of reasons within the organization.
